Cooperstown Dreams Park Berths*

Nations Baseball of Greater Orlando is proud to announce that we have secured a 10U and 12U berth to Cooperstown Dreams Park for the summer of 2010. For those not familiar with Cooperstown Dreams Park, it is the premier baseball experience in the country for 10U and 12U players attended by over 1,000 teams each summer. For 12 weeks each summer, close to 100 teams battle it out in a 6-7 pool game plus single elimination format to see who will be crowned champions.
This gala event also includes home run derby, around the horn, and road runner competitions, webcasts of certain games and trips to the Baseball Hall of Fame. These factors combine to make this a once in a lifetime experience for your team. For more information about Cooperstown Dreams Park please visit their website by clicking here.
Even with the roughly 100 teams that participate each week in CDP, many more are unable to attend because of the limited number of teams that can be accommodated. Nations Orlando has gotten our hands on two berths for next year and will be giving away one 10U and one 12U berth which are guaranteed spots in next summers events. Here’s how to win:
To be eligible to win one of the berths, your team must participate in 4 of Nations Orlando’s events from October 1st, 2009 thru February 28th, 2010. For each of these events, teams will be awarded points based upon the following formula:
For tournaments with 6 teams or less:
1st Place- 400 pts
2nd Place- 300 pts
3rd Place- 200 pts
4th Place- 100 pts
For tournaments with 7 or more teams:
1st Place- 600 pts
2nd Place- 500 pts
3rd Place- 400 pts
4th Place- 300 pts
5th Place- 200 pts
6th Place- 100 pts
The team in each age group (10U and 12U) with the most total points by the end of February 28th, 2010 will be awarded the Cooperstown Dreams Park berths.
*A berth to CDP is a guaranteed reservation for one week with the actual week determined by CDP. The winning teams are responsible for payment of all entrance fees and other costs associated with participation in the Cooperstown event.
